The day before the Summit, AIxEd hosts the Strategy Collaborative: an invite-only working day that brings around 120 leaders from across education to take stock of where AI in education stands and where it is heading.
The insights carry forward with articles in collaboration with Harvard Data Science Review, and they shape the conversation at the Summit the next day.
It is part of what makes AIxEd more than an event: a driving platform of strategy for AI in education.

Both days of AIxEd Fall 2026 take place at Boston University, in the heart of Boston's academic community.
AIxEd brings the AI-in-education community together — educators, researchers, institutional leaders, policymakers, and industry — to make sense of how AI is reshaping learning and work. Through its events and the Strategy Collaborative, AIxEd doesn't just convene the field; it helps set its direction.
Hamit Hamutcu is the founder of AIxEd, which aims to explore the future of AI in learning, teaching, and the transformation of educational institutions. He brings 30 years of industry and consulting experience in data and AI. He was a Senior Advisor at the Institute for Experiential AI at Northeastern University where he led strategy and educational programs in AI upskilling. He is also a co-editor at Harvard Data Science Review and co-founder of the Initiative for Analytics and Data Science Standards, a nonprofit initiative that aims to develop industry standards for the knowledge and skills required in data science roles and data and AI literacy. Previously, Hamit was a managing partner for Peppers & Rogers Group in Stamford, Connecticut, where he headed the Global Analytics Group and launched several offices for the company globally.
